Public Hearing & Application Workshop | Stark County - OH

The State of Ohio received $55.8 million in the second and third allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) funds through the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). While most of the funding was used for HOME Relief Grants, some residual funds will be administered by the Ohio Department of Development’s Office of Community Development (OCD). Stark County will use these funds for public service projects to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus in Stark County. The Board of Stark County Commissioners have available $500,000 from the above stated fund to allocate to Stark County non-profit agencies for public services. All funding requests must tieback to COVID-19. The first public hearing and application workshop is scheduled for Friday, January 27, 2023 at 9:00am. The meeting will be virtual vs Microsoft Teams.
