Boys Varsity Football: The Canton McKinley High School Bulldogs play the Massillon Washington High School Tigers on October 22nd, 2022 at 2:00 pm EDT.
For 128 years, Canton McKinley Bulldogs and Massillon Washington Tigers high schools have battled it out on the field. The schools are only eight short miles apart in what is considered “The PLACE” for high school football in Northeast Ohio. McKinley and Massillon have combined for over 36 large-school championships and 11 national titles which makes anytime these rivals get together, there will be some fireworks. The rivalry started in 1894. Massillon holds the edge 74-53 over McKinley. McKinley looks to shrink that gap when they travel to Massillon.
