Warren Sapp Officially Enshrined into Pro Football Hall of Fame

On August 3, 2013, Warren Sapp was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Sapp, a dominant defensive tackle, was part of the Class of 2013 and recognized for his outstanding contributions to the game during his career, primarily with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Andre Johnson Was Enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Alan Page born August 7, 1945, in Canton, Ohio

Alan Page was born August 7, 1945, in Canton, Ohio. He became known for his football career and later his legal work. He played college football at Notre Dame, where he helped win a national championship. Drafted in 1967, he spent 15 seasons in the NFL, mostly with the Minnesota Vikings. Page was the first defensive player to win the NFL MVP Award. After retiring from football, he earned a law degree and served as a justice on the Minnesota Supreme Court from 1993 to 2015. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2018. In Canton, he attended Central Catholic High School and once worked on the construction of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, where he was later inducted. Page also co-founded the Page Education Foundation to support students of color. His career reflected a long commitment to service, education, and civic responsibility, both in sports and the law.
