Sophie Spellman, former North Canton Hoover High School standout, played on Saturday, April 12 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Saturday, April 12, former North Canton Hoover High School standout Sophie Spellman’s current college team, the Cleveland State Vikings, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Green Bay Phoenix.

The game took place at Viking Field. This was their first matchup against the Phoenix this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at Viking Field against Green Bay Phoenix.
