On Tuesday, Feb. 4, former Hoover High School standout Owen Blackledge’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, lost 10-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Barton Bulldogs.

The game took place at Nixon Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at Zell B. Miller Field against Columbus State Cougars.
