On Saturday, April 26, former North Canton Hoover High School standout Sophie Spellman’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Saturday, April 26, former North Canton Hoover High School standout Sophie Spellman’s current college team, the Cleveland State Vikings, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Robert Morris Colonials.

The game took place at Viking Field. This was their first matchup against the Colonials this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m. at Viking Field against Robert Morris Colonials.
