Saturday, April 12: Hoover High School standout Laila Varney’s college team wins to Point Park Pioneers

On Saturday, April 12, former Hoover High School standout Laila Varney’s current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Point Park Pioneers.

The game took place at UC Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 2:55 p.m. at UC Softball Field against Point Park Pioneers.
