Saturday, March 15: North Canton Hoover High School standout Sophie Spellman’s college team wins to Youngstown State Penguins

On Saturday, March 15, former North Canton Hoover High School standout Sophie Spellman’s current college team, the Cleveland State Vikings, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.

The game took place at YSU Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Penguins this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Viking Field against IUPUI Jaguars.
