Hoover High School standout Owen Blackledge’s college team won in NCAA Division II baseball game on Saturday, March 8

On Saturday, March 8, former Hoover High School standout Owen Blackledge’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 11-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Newberry Wolves.

The game took place at Durham Field. This was their third matchup against the Wolves this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 5 p.m. at Durham Field against Southern Wesleyan Warriors.
