On Friday, Feb. 28, former North Canton Hoover High School standout Tanner Ware’s college team lost in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former North Canton Hoover High School standout Tanner Ware’s current college team, the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the New Mexico State Aggies.

The game took place at Presley Askew Field. This was their first matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Golden Grizzlies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at Presley Askew Field against New Mexico State Aggies.
