Friday, Feb. 7: Hoover High School standout Owen Blackledge’s college team wins to Columbus State Cougars

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Hoover High School standout Owen Blackledge’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 15-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Columbus State Cougars.

The game took place at Zell B. Miller Field. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. at Zell B. Miller Field against Young Harris Mountain Lions.
