The Kent State women's golf team remains in a strong position after Saturday's middle round at the Florida State Match Up, with the team all alone in fourth and three individuals in the top 15.
The Flashes were led once again by senior Mayka Hoogeboom, who posted a score of 73 to add to an impressive 71 in the opener, gaining ground on the rest of the field and finishing Saturday's action in a tie for third.
Noramol Nuchsila and Jennifer Gu continue to impress on the links, carding scores of 76 and 74 respectively, and will each enter Sunday's finale in a tie for 13th.
The 12th-ranked Seminoles continue to lead the way ahead of Augusta in second, and Kentucky in third, and the Flashes will look to catch those three down the home stretch tomorrow.
The tournament will resume on Sunday with a 10 AM Eastern tee time, and Kent State will be paired with Notre Dame and Purdue for the final round.
