The Walsh University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams continue their success with a number of Academic awards for the 2022 season. The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced their academic awards on Thursday. 

The USTFCCCA awarded 328 men from 110 different institutions country wide for the academic success in 2022. The Cavaliers had 5 men be named to the All-Academic Athletes list. The Cavaliers were also named to the All-Academic Team for the 2022 season. In order to qualify for All-Academic honors, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The Cavs were one of 122 teams named to the list with their 3.45 cumulative GPA. The following Cavalier athletes were named to the All-Academic team:

Noah Graham: Pre-PT

Zach Kreft: MBA

Drew Monahan: Nursing

Nathan Moore: Business

Drew Roberts: Accounting

Bridget Hahn and Teja Young received All-Academic honors on the Women's side for the 2022 season. Hahn, pursuing a degree in Theology and Accounting, was also named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Elite 26 Award recipient in the Fall.  The Cavaliers were one of 146 different programs honored as a 2022 All-Academic Team on the Women's side for their outstanding commitment in the classroom. The Cavs had a cumulative team GPA of 3.71.
