The Cavs hit the road this past weekend to face the University of Findlay Oilers. Walsh had momentum leading into this week with their first win coming vs Kentucky Wesleyan last week. It was a defensive battle in the first quarter, only Findlay putting points on the board with three. Early in the second quarter, the Oilers proceeded to kick another field goal to make the score 6-0. Findlay then increased their lead, 13-0, after Dominic Bennett returned an 84-yard punt return for a touchdown. The Oilers kept the scoring going with another touchdown by Derek Lynch. Walsh attempted to answer by scoring a touchdown late in the third quarter, making the score 20-7. The Cavaliers couldn't connect anything in the final quarter, resulting in a road loss.
