The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, in the George Urban Board of Trustees Conference Room, which is located on the second floor of the University Library. The sole purpose of the special meeting is to consider a proposed Collective Bargaining Agreement between Kent State and the Kent State University Employees Local 153, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). The Board will retire into executive session during the meeting to consider specific topics as provided for under Ohio’s “Sunshine Law.” No committee meetings will be held.
A limited number of seats will be available in person to the public, and additional public access will be provided through livestreaming of the meeting at the link below:

The next regularly scheduled business meeting of the Board of Trustees is Wednesday, Dec. 7, at the Kent Campus.
