Tuesday night, Malone looked to add another win to their record, after upsetting No. 21 Walsh last Thursday, as they challenged Ashland University.
Ashland jumped out to an early lead, and despite Malone's best efforts of a comeback, the Eagles held on to a 4-2 win at King Field.

Ashland came out hot, scoring twice within the first five minutes of the match. The Pioneers answered back with a goal from the freshman Christian Piccolotto, assisted by Colton Fry.
At the half, Ashland had a 2-1 lead over the Pioneers.
Midway through the second half, Ashland was granted with a penalty kick which resulted in a goal. Shortly followed by a goal from sophomore Randy Harris with the assist by Fraeday Moo to make the score 3-2.
A late goal by the Eagles put the nail in the coffin for the comeback try for the Pioneers with the ending score of 4-2 in favor of Ashland University.

Freshman Christian Piccolotto became the leading goal scorer on the season for the Pioneers today securing his fourth.
Sophomore Randy Harris joins several of the Pioneer men in being tied for second on the team for goals scored after netting his 3rd on the season.
