After a 2022 season that ended in Great Midwest Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors, catcher Jessie Rock added two more awards to the resume for her senior season.
Rock was named to the 2022 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Region Second Teams for the Midwest. The NFCA All-Region teams are selected and voted by the region's head coaches while the D2CCA All-Region teams are nominated and voted by the sports information directors in the Midwest.
In 2018, Rock was a NFCA Second Team All-Region catcher, making this her second NFCA accolade.
Rock finished the season with a .389 batting average (42-108) along with eight doubles and nine home runs. She tallied 32 runs batted in and 25 runs scored. Her on-base percentage was .407 and she was slugging over .725 overall. Within the conference, Rock was second in slugging and home runs, fourth in OPS, sixth in batting average and eighth in RBIs. In 23 games with a hit, Rock had 13 multi-hit games with five games of three or four hits.
