Of the 1,089 people living in East Sparta in 2020, 49.4 percent (538) were women and 50.6 percent (551) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Canton Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 23. In the 65 and over age range, there were 78 females and 67 males.
