Walsh falls to #17 Seton Hill

Walsh University Athletics issued the following announcement on March 2

The Cavaliers were defeated by the Griffins from Seton Hill on Wednesday (March 2nd) by a score of 17 to 8. The loss puts Walsh at 1-2 on the season. 

FOR THE CAVS:

  • G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week Hannah McFeeters led Walsh with three goals. McFeeters also picked up two ground balls and caused four turnovers. 
  • Grace Andreski scored two goals on the day
  • Isabella Kelty and Lindsay Hindman had one goal a piece
  • Kelty dished out a game-high two assists
  • Kathleen Mendenhall picked up a team-high seven ground balls and recorded 11 saves for Walsh
FOR THE GRIFFINS:

  • Skylar Orlowski proved dominant on offense with six goals and three assists
  • #8 Piper Conlan scored four goals on seven shots
  • Jaclyn Frank rounded out the Griffin's scoring with three goals
  • Goalie Kamille Ward recorded 13 saves on 21 shots on goal
UP NEXT:

The Cavaliers will host Mercyhurst University on Wednesday, March 9th at 3 p.m.
