Updated Mount Union History Book “Make the Echoes Roll” Now Available to Purchase

University of Mount Union issued the following announcement on Feb. 17

In continued celebration of the University of Mount Union’s 175th Anniversary, its updated history book, “Make the Echoes Roll,’ authored by alumnus and longtime employee Harry Paidas, is now available to the public. 

“Make the Echoes Roll” is an updated history of the institution from 1996-2021, and features reflections on significant moments throughout five Mount Union presidencies and the men’s and women’s athletic programs during that time. The book is an update to Dr. John Saffel’s “Wake the Echoes,” which followed Mount Union’s first history book, “A Select School,” written by Dr. Yost Osborne.  

The book, available at the historically relevant price of $18.46, is available for purchase at Mount Union’s University Store, located inside the Hoover-Price Campus Center on the University’s campus. The book is also available to for home delivery with additional shipping and handling fees by calling Mount Union’s Office of Alumni Engagement at (330) 823-2030.
