WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT MALONE UNIVERSITY
Roster | Schedule | Stats
- After a bit of a shakeup over the weekend, the Pioneers are back atop the G-MAC standings in sole possession of first place. Walsh University stands in second-place with a 7-2 league mark, but Malone holds the tiebreaker over the Cavaliers by virtue of the Pioneers' 69-53 head-to-head win earlier this season.
- Bryce Butler poured in a team-high 22 points to help lead Malone to a 74-70 win over Cedarville on Saturday. Butler now leads the team, and ranks fourth in the conference, averaging 17.5 points per game.
- Bo Myers, who earlier last week scored the 1,000th point of his MU career at Ohio Dominican, is second on the team (and fifth in the league) averaging 16.5 points per game.
- Justin Miller's 14.6 points per game is also a top-10 mark in the conference. Miller is also tied for the G-MAC lead with 74 assists on the season.
- Marcus Ernst has notched a double-double in two out of the last three games. His 9.7 rebounds per game is second-best in the conference
- As a team Malone still boasts the league's highest scoring offense. The Pioneers are scoring an average of 83.3 points per game.

- Lake Erie is coming off of a 73-61 loss at home to Kentucky Wesleyan in their last time out. That loss snapped what had been a three-game winning streak for the Storm.

- The Storm's offense is led by junior guard Jordan Burton. His 14.8 points per game ranks seventh in the conference. When the Pioneers played the Storm in Painesville last month Burton finished with 19 points on 7-18 shooting from the field.
- Sophomore forward Johnny Manning is the only other LEC player averaging in double-digits at 11.7 points per game.
