The second half of 2021: Home prices in Greentown increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Greentown rose by $15,000 while total sales increased by 53.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 40 homes sold, with a median sale price of $277,500 - a 5.7% increase over the $262,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Greentown in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Greentown for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $7,224, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
