Median home prices in Louisville rose to $169,500 in the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Louisville rose by $19,500 while total sales decreased by 22%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 71 homes sold, with a median sale price of $169,500 - a 13% increase over the $150,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 91 homes sold in Louisville in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Louisville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,756, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
