Median home prices in Canton rose to $109,950 in the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Canton rose by $14,450 while total sales increased by 17.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 724 homes sold, with a median sale price of $109,950 - a 15.1% increase over the $95,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 616 homes sold in Canton in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Canton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,388, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
