Mount Pleasant median home prices rose by 62.5% in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Mount Pleasant rose by $105,750 while total sales decreased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,000 - a 62.5% increase over the $169,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $5,637, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
