East Canton home prices fell in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in East Canton fell by $18,850 while total sales decreased by 23.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $105,000 - a 15.2% decrease over the $123,850 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in East Canton in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in East Canton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,026, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
