Rising home prices in Plain in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Plain rose by $6,800 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $110,500 - a 6.6% increase over the $103,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Plain in the second quarter of 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in Plain for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,601, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
