Pricing for the median home in Louisville increased during the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Louisville rose by $16,500 while total sales increased by 3.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 59 homes sold, with a median sale price of $151,500 - a 12.2% increase over the $135,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 57 homes sold in Louisville in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Louisville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,756, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
