North Canton home prices rose in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in North Canton rose by $36,000 while total sales increased by 117.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 341 homes sold, with a median sale price of $191,000 - a 23.2% increase over the $155,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 157 homes sold in North Canton in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in North Canton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $5,272, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
