Louisville median home prices fell by 7.7% in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Louisville fell by $12,000 while total sales increased by 193.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 170 homes sold, with a median sale price of $144,500 - a 7.7% decrease over the $156,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 58 homes sold in Louisville in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Louisville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,756, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
