Louisville home prices fell in the fourth quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Louisville fell by $49,950 while total sales increased by 313.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 91 homes sold, with a median sale price of $150,000 - a 25% decrease over the $199,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Louisville in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Louisville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,756, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
