Canton City School District issued the following announcement on Oct 25.
Fifth graders from AIM, Clarendon, Youtz, and Mason had a wonderful learning experience this week. They viewed the film, "Rainforests of the Maya," produced by Richard Kern. This film is a wildlife documentary that highlights the discoveries and many species Richard encounters during his journey. After viewing the film, students had an opportunity to attend a Q&A session with Richard asking him questions about his adventure.
A special thanks to Science Curriculum Consultant, Dale Gallucci, from the Stark County ESC and our 5th grade staff for making this learning experience engaging!
