Canton City School District issued the following announcement on Sept. 26.
A few weeks ago, Allie Gates, intervention specialist at Lehman Middle School, wrote some lyrics to the instrumental beat of the song "Laugh Now, Cry Later." Candice Thomas, counselor, and Nathan Clark, Assistant Principal, jumped on the track with her.
The song and lyrics were then shared through the Flipgrid platform to all Lehman students, both hybrid and remote, with a goal to build community during this time of remote learning. Students were asked to create a dance, lip sync, or make an inspirational video that could be added into a school music video.
We love seeing all the different personalities and students showing school spirit. Thank you to everyone who participated!
