Alliance home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Alliance fell by $5,925 while total sales increased by 17.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 94 homes sold, with a median sale price of $61,300 - a 8.8% decrease over the $67,225 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 80 homes sold in Alliance in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Alliance for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,849, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
