Louisville home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Louisville rose by $5,950 while total sales decreased by 22.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 112 homes sold, with a median sale price of $132,450 - a 4.7% increase over the $126,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 145 homes sold in Louisville in 2016.

The median sales tax in Louisville for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,310, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for 2017.
