Louisville home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Louisville rose by $20,695 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 96 homes sold, with a median sale price of $153,145 - a 15.6% increase over the $132,450 median sale price for the previous year. There were 112 homes sold in Louisville in 2017.

The median sales tax in Louisville for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,310, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for 2018.
