The City of Canton, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), is seeking public input on a proposed rehabilitation project for the Fourth St SE bridge over the East Branch of Nimishillen Creek in Stark County. The project, identified as ODOT PID 121106, aims to repair the bridge by replacing its deck, addressing deteriorating features, and performing structural steel replacement and beam repairs.
Mannik and Smith Group Inc. has been named as the consultant for this initiative. Traffic will be rerouted via Young Ave SE, Tuscarawas St.E (S.R. 172), and Hartford Ave.SE during construction.
